MISA FAQ

SAGIA was rebranded to the Ministry of Investment (MISA) in 2020. It now has more authority and offers a fully digital, streamlined licensing process.
No. MISA licenses allow for 100% foreign ownership in most sectors (Services, Industrial, Trading). You do not need a local sponsor.
The government fee for the first year is 2,000 SAR (Subscription) + 60,000 SAR (License Fee) for most categories. Entrepreneur licenses are cheaper (2,000 SAR total).
