Why Proper Exit Matters
Abandoning a company without formal closure leads to lifetime bans and heavy fines.
Travel Bans
Owners and GMs can be placed on travel ban lists for unpaid government fees or labor dues.
Accumulated Fines
ZATCA and GOSI fines continue to accumulate monthly even if the business is inactive, creating a massive debt.
Future Blocks
You will be blocked from opening any new business or bank account in Saudi Arabia in the future.
The Clearance Checklist
Before the CR can be cancelled, we must obtain “No Objection” certificates from all relevant authorities.
- ZATCA (Final Tax Return)
- GOSI (Zero Employees)
- Labor Office (File Closure)
- Customs & Chamber of Commerce
Insolvency Protection
If your debts exceed your assets, we can guide you through the Bankruptcy Law procedures to protect you from personal liability.

Liquidation FAQs
Can I just let the license expire?
No. An expired license does not mean the company is closed. Fines will continue to accrue, and you will face penalties for non-renewal.
What happens to the employees?
All employees must either be transferred to another sponsor (Kafala Transfer) or issued Final Exit visas before the Labor file can be closed.
Do I need to visit Saudi Arabia?
Usually, no. If you appoint us as your liquidator via Power of Attorney (PoA), we can handle the entire process remotely.
